The ASP-2 is an excellent ALPHA detector with ZERO BACKGROUND in gamma fields up to 1 R/hr. Low density window of 5 mg/cm2 enables the high efficiency detection (40+% 2Pi) of alpha down to 3 MeV. Mounted in shock resistant metal housing.
