The RSS2 source set is used for determining the resolving time of GM counters. It consists of 3 half-disks: 2 contain Tl-204 and 1 is left blank (contains no material).
All RSS2 sources have an uncertainty of ± 20% of the labeled activity.

The RSS3 source set is designed for demonstrating the basic characteristics of radiation. It consists of 3 disk sources: 1 gamma emitter, 1 beta emitter, and 1 alpha emitter.

The RSS8 source set is designed for gamma spectroscopy. It consists of 8 different gamma emitting isotopes that cover the entire range from 32 keV to 1332.49 keV.
All disk sources have an uncertainty of ± 20% of the labeled activity unless calibrated (± 5%) for an additional cost.
